A Renewed Strength in the Wait

A Renewed Strength in the Wait

Isaiah 40:31 (KJV) – But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

Waiting can be one of the hardest states to endure. Waiting is difficult because you normally don’t know how long the wait will be and you have minimal insight into the outcome of the wait. As a result, you often become restless, frustrated, and discouraged.

As I reflect on Isaiah 40:31, I am reminded of our ability to renew our strength while waiting on the Lord. Isn’t that wonderful? By simply waiting on the Lord, we can renew our strength. Trust God and know that waiting is a part of God’s purposeful plan for your life.
