When I was a child, I often dreamed of living in a big house, driving a nice car and traveling the world. However during my childhood, there was limited money to provide beyond my immediate needs. As a result, I often imagined how different life would be once I graduated from college and started earning a great salary. Little did I know that my dream would be impacted by company layoffs and a recession?
Despite the state of the economy, I still believe in pursuing my dreams. I have come to the realization that there will always be situations, events or people that seek to prevent dreams from coming to fruition. However, each obstacle that I hurdle increases my ability to persevere.
