Lamentations 3:23 (KVJ) – They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.
I have often heard the scripture and song “great is thy faithfulness”, but never took the time to truly understand what this phrase means. Merriam-Webster defines faithfulness as given with strong assurance or firm in adherence to promises. Based on this definition, what promises has God made to you? Are you strengthened in your belief that those promises will come to pass?
There’s no doubt in my mind that God is magnificently powerful and forever faithful in all that he does. Circumstances or devises from the enemy may attempt to deter you from God’s promises, but God’s plan for your life will ultimately prevail. Be mindful of the things of God and know that even in your darkest hour, great is thy faithfulness.
